Job summary

PCSI is hiring a Laborer Grounds Maintenance position on Ft. Hood to perform a variety of grounds maintenance tasks in support of the contract. This AbilityOne employer emphasizes opportunities for individuals with disabilities and may require documentation.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm. Duties include planning and completing modifications, routine grounds tasks, equipment maintenance, and site cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Approximately 1 year of prior grounds keeping or landscaping experience is preferred.
• Ability to climb, bend, lift 10–60 pounds and walk for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform various grounds maintenance tasks to support the contract.
• Assist in planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and work as part of a team.
