Job summary

The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a Maintenance - Grounds Foreman to lead a small team of grounds staff, supervise repairs, mowing, irrigation, and safety practices across district facilities and athletic fields.

Responsibilities include planning snow and ice removal, coordinating daily work, training staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe access for students and staff. Benefits available after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a grounds crew and coordinating tasks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for outdoor facilities.
• Strong mechanical background and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of up to three grounds staff for daily work.
• Plans, coordinates and assists with snow/ice removal operations.
• Trains employees in safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitors work quality and communicates needs for training.
• Maintains grounds and athletic facilities to district standards.
