Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience to understand major duties from an apprenticeship/internship or similar position (1–2 years).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grounds maintenance: mow grass, cut weeds, clear brush, rake leaves.
• Plant trees, flowers, and shrubs; trim trees and shrubs.
• Collect litter and empty trash cans on campus grounds.
• Move office furniture and assist with event setup.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including backhoe and dump truck.
• Operate hand and power tools (chainsaws, weed eaters, lawn mowers).
• Provide support to other maintenance personnel and load/unload materials.
