Job summary

Fleet Landing WELLInspired Living seeks a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to beautify and maintain the campus and grounds. The role involves mowing, edging, pruning, weed control, and clean-up to keep the campus pristine for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating equipment safely, performing preventative maintenance, and representing the community in a professional manner while supporting a premium senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, prune, weed, and perform general clean-up of the campus.
• Ensure campus vehicles and equipment are clean and maintained; perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely for installation, maintenance and cleaning projects.
• Operate heavy equipment with safe and proficient handling.
• Represent the community positively when interacting with residents and colleagues.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member. The Grounds Maintenance Crew member's primary responsibility is the beautification and maintenance of our Campus. Fleet Landing has over 140 healthcare beds including a post-acute unit, home health, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists team members with mowing, edging, pruning, weed control and general clean-up.
• Ensure campus utility vehicles and equipment remain clean and in working order, including preventative maintenance.
• Skillfully and safely uses manually and power operated tools or equipment to perform installation, maintenance and cleaning projects.
• Strong working knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ensures all crew members perform their work safely and wears and uses all PPE as directed.
• Ability to positively represent the community by interacting with community residents and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

One year of grounds maintenance preferred.
