Job summary

Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach seeks an Independent Living Housekeeper (Full-Time) to maintain resident units and common areas with a focus on cleanliness and hospitality.

You will handle cleaning tasks, follow safety guidelines for chemicals, and support a caring, service-oriented community for residents and staff. Previous experience is preferred; strong English communication and a reliable work ethic are essential. This role offers competitive salary and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to verbally communicate in English with Residents and staff.
• Experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to clean and maintain resident units and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleans top of refrigerators, stoves, sinks, floors, walls, and maintains resident units weekly.
• Informs Manager of housekeeping cancellations when they occur.
• Takes laundry requests and handles pickup/delivery daily.
• Handles daily use and storage of cleaning chemicals safely.
• Uses proper signage when cleaning floors and removes signage when floor is dry.
• Maintains apartment bathrooms and cleans hallways, stairways, and elevators as needed.
• Discards waste into proper containers and lines trash receptacles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans top of refrigerators, stoves, stove drip pans, sinks, floors, walls, dusting, spot cleaning carpets, bathrooms, baseboards and maintaining resident units on a weekly basis.
• Informs Manager of Housekeeping Services of any housekeeping cancellations at the moment of cancellation.
• Displays team oriented, “can do” attitude and is willing to help where needed on any given day.
• Takes any Laundry residents wish to have laundered and puts them in assigned closet or bus stop for pickup daily.
• Handles/interacts with all chemicals on a daily basis.
• Uses proper signage when cleaning floors and removes signage when floor is dry.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from any surfaces using appropriate chemicals.
• Cleans and maintains apartment bathrooms frequently.
• Assists in cleaning hallways, stairways, and elevators in buildings if needed.
• Discards waste and trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.

Qualifications:

Minimum 8 th grade education. Must be able to verbally communicate in English with Residents and staff.

Experience:

Experience strongly preferred.
