Job summary

Maverick Gaming LLC is seeking a Groundman for Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko to maintain the property's grounds and landscape. You will perform tasks from sod laying and mowing to sprinkler maintenance and cleaning exterior areas.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and potentially work weekends with overtime. A valid driver’s license is required and E-Verify compliance is noted.

Qualifications

• Be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Be a self-starter.
• Be able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Grounds maintenance and landscape tasks for the property, including sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking.
• Maintain and repair sprinkler systems.
• Mow lawns with push or riding mowers; trim trees/bushes; perform related outdoor work.
• Pressure wash outdoor items and sweep parking areas.
• Snow removal from walkways and parking lots as needed.
• Ensure exterior/grounds are clean and presentable.
