Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Landscaper to maintain Providence Place at Ingleside. You will cut grass, prune trees and shrubs, and perform snow removal and light maintenance tasks to keep the property safe and attractive.

The role requires a high school level of education, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will operate lawn mowers and other equipment and work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school level of educational development.
• 6–12 months of prior work experience plus up to 3 months of on-the-job training.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to understand simple written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates soil, plants, waters, weeds, edges, and trims lawns, flowerbeds, shrubs and trees.
• Rakes, collects, disposes of leaves and refuse from facility grounds; clears storm drains and debris.
• Removes snow from sidewalks, parking lots, and entrances using shovels, snow blowers and small tractors; spreads salt/gravel.
• Operates large riding mowers, push mowers, tillers, riding sweepers, edgers and other light yard equipment; performs routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Repairs parking lots by filling cracks or holes with gravel or asphalt as appropriate.
• Applies weed control chemicals using a sprayer following safety guidelines.
• Picks up trash on property and surroundings.
