Job summary

Plymouth Place Senior Living is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the landscape around the Main Building, Maintenance garage and parking areas. The role requires trimming, planting, weeding and general grounds care on a Tue-Sat shift from 7:30 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Responsibilities include snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, event setup and daily campus upkeep. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English with residents and staff.
• Familiarity with safe operation of hand and power tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Trim shrubs, bushes and ornamental trees around the Main Building and campus.
• Plant and water flowers following grower recommendations.
• Weed and maintain planting beds weekly.
• Water turf areas and newly seeded/sod areas as needed.
• Keep campus clean by picking up debris daily.
• General policing of grounds to preserve appearance.
• Assist in snow/ice removal and salt application.
• Clean gutters and assist with furniture/equipment setup for events.
• Follow Plymouth Place policies and attend trainings as required.
