Job summary

JLL in Wilmington, NC seeks a Groundskeeper to create and maintain outdoor spaces at commercial properties. This hands-on role blends landscape artistry with practical maintenance, including lawn care, planting, irrigation, and surface cleaning to enhance curb appeal and tenant satisfaction.

You will work with property teams to execute vision, perform equipment operation safely, and keep records in our CMMS. Physical stamina and reliable teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on groundskeeping or exterior property maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pristine lawn areas through mowing, edging, and aerating.
• Perform landscape maintenance including trimming hedges, pruning trees and shrubs, and weeding gardens.
• Install, maintain, and repair sprinkler and irrigation systems, including programming controllers.
• Cultivate and enhance garden areas with planting, fertilizing, mulching, and soil conditioning.
• Clear debris from sidewalks, roofs, entrances, and parking lots; power wash surfaces as needed.
• Update work order status in CMMS and submit daily receipts for proper record-keeping.
