Job summary

Rogue Valley Manor in Southern Oregon is seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces for residents, guests, and team members. This role involves landscaping, equipment operation, debris removal, and campus upkeep, with a focus on safety and cleanliness.

The position offers 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, at a pay rate of $18.00 to $23.72 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• One year of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of landscape equipment and safe operating procedures.
• State Chemical Applicator License or willingness to pursue after hire.
• Ability to perform physically active outdoor work in varying weather.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds through landscaping, watering, debris removal, planting, and general campus upkeep.
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform cleaning projects including pressure washing and fountain cleaning.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and compost collection; keep campus clean and organized.
• Support event setup and takedown; maintain tools and work areas.
• Provide exceptional service to residents and guests; follow safety procedures and respond during emergencies.

Rogue Valley Manor is Southern Oregon’s premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community, offering a vibrant campus with beautifully maintained grounds and exceptional amenities. We are seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper to help maintain and enhance our outdoor spaces while contributing to a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain community grounds through landscaping, watering, debris removal, planting, and general campus upkeep.
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform cleaning projects including pressure washing, leaf removal, fountain cleaning, and common area maintenance.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and compost collection while helping keep the campus clean and organized.
• Support event setup and takedown activities while maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Provide exceptional service to residents and guests while following safety procedures and responding appropriately during emergencies.

Pay: $18.00 to $23.72 / hr DOE

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

About You

• Minimum of one year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of landscape equipment, chemicals, and safe operating procedures.
• State Chemical Applicator License or willingness to pursue the license after hire.
• Ability to perform physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering excellent service.
