Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of hallways, basements, stairways, trash rooms and other public areas across our properties.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting fixtures, reporting damage, moving appliances during transfers, climbing ladders, and basic outdoor maintenance. A valid English communication ability and reliable transportation are required; lifting up to 50 pounds and participation in meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate orally in English.
• Must have access to reliable vehicle transportation for errands from property.

Responsibilities

• Provide adequate and efficient housekeeping to assure cleanliness of building halls, basements, stairways, trash rooms and other public areas.
• Sweep public areas, stairways, halls, laundry rooms, building entrances and trash rooms.
• Sweep and/or mop the public areas of all buildings.
• Dust and wet rag the washers and dryers in laundry areas.
• Remove empty soap boxes and other trash; dust light fixtures including high-hanging globes and wall-mounted globes.
• Clean mailbox fronts, public walls or halls, and trash room walls including trash door areas.
• Report missing light bulbs, building damage or vandalism, unusual circumstances and conditions in writing to supervisor.
• Delivery of appliances to units due to transfers, removals, and/or replacements; climb ladders to 20 feet.
• Cut grass, trimming and landscaping using power equipment; attend mandatory meetings/seminars.
• Other duties as assigned by Site Manager and/or TMAM Management.
