Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a part-time custodian/housekeeper at Unity Terrace in Fairmont, WV. The role focuses on keeping building halls, basements, stairways and public areas clean and orderly.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting laundry areas, reporting maintenance issues in writing, and assisting with basic repairs as directed. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Must communicate orally in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of building halls, basements, stairways, trash rooms and other public areas.
• Sweep all public areas, including stairways, halls, laundry rooms and trash rooms.
• Sweep and/or mop the public areas of all buildings.
• Dust and wipe washers and dryers in laundry areas.
• Report missing light bulbs, building damage or vandalism, and unusual conditions to supervisor in writing.
• Attend mandatory meetings and seminars.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Delivery of appliances to units due to transfers, removals and/or replacements.
• Able to climb ladders to a height of 20 feet.
• Cut grass, trimming and landscaping duties as needed.
• Other duties assigned by Site Manager or TMAM Management.
