Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class E driver's license required.
• First Aid & CPR certification required before probation period.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at the 8th grade level.
• Knowledge of grounds keeping techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, plants, fertilizes, sprinkles, mows, edges, and maintains grounds and play areas.
• Trims hedges and rakes leaves.
• Polices and maintains grounds and picks up trash.
• Plants trees and shrubbery.
• Assists in laying out athletic fields and sedging as necessary.
• Operates trucks for hauling sand, fill and other materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
