Job summary

North Wind Dynamics, LLC is seeking a Laborer in Paducah, Kentucky for a regular full-time position. The role covers general roads and grounds maintenance, loading and transporting materials, and operating a range of heavy equipment on a site with DoE clearance requirements.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, US citizenship, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain the DOE L clearance and Kentucky herbicide license. Previous laborer experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen and authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government vehicle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “L” security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain State of Kentucky license for herbicide application.
• Previous laborer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operation of mobile and powered equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, tractors, bush hogs, snow blowers, chain saws, powered edgers, dump truck, pulling trailers, etc.
• Loading, transporting and relocation of office type equipment and furniture, construction materials etc. as needed
• Mixing and application of fertilizers and herbicides, using hand or automatic sprayers /spreaders to include calibration of sprayers.
• Performing snow removal activities from walkways, roadways, application of anti –icing materials in order to prevent injuries or other safety related incidents
• Installation and maintenance of fencing.
