Job summary

Westinghouse Electric's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Building and Grounds Worker for an onsite role in Bridgman, MI. You will join a team maintaining property buildings and grounds under the Facilities Supervisor.

Responsibilities include lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, basic repairs, and moving supplies. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with CDL preferred. The job offers day or night shifts in winter.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Outdoor work and weather exposure.
• Day or night shifts during winter months.
• Maintenance, snow plowing and lawn care experience.
• Pass background and drug/alcohol screens and employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding equipment; trim and edge around walks and beds.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; prune as needed.
• Remove snow and ice from roads and walkways; rake leaves and sweep.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on grounds equipment.
• Perform minor building maintenance, plumbing, painting; small framing or drywall work; repair toilets and urinals.
• Move office furniture and supplies.
