Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company’s WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Project Manager to be located onsite in Bridgman, MI. This long-term contract role involves upgrades, replacements or new installations, with reporting to the client management team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and several years of project management experience, preferably in the nuclear industry, and be able to pass background and drug screening. Safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field required or equivalent education/experience.
• Five (5) years' experience in commercial nuclear power; demonstrated ability in project management.
• PMP desired but not required; be able to pass background, drug/alcohol screen and employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Project Goals
• Advise Project Sponsor of issues affecting project objectives
• Conduct business analyses and feasibility studies for proposed projects
• Develop functional requirements and project budget including ROI analyses
• Evaluate technologies and systems needed and obtain resources for development and implementation
• Serve as client representative in plans and participate in corporate/industry projects
• Develop project plans, schedules, resources, milestones and performance indicators
• Manage project close-out and provide reports to Senior Management on progress
