Job summary

Devereux is hiring a Maintenance & Facilities Specialist in the Goleta area, offering a Monday–Friday schedule and a 8:30am–5pm workday with some flexibility. You will maintain grounds, perform minor repairs, and support safety and security systems as needed. A company vehicle will be used for cross‑facility duties.

Salary is $22–$24 per hour depending on experience. Candidates should be comfortable with driving requirements and pass background checks; California driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Pass thorough background checks and Livescan.
• High School Diploma not required but highly preferred; one or more years of specialized training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field highly preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Outlook email.

Responsibilities

• General landscaping and groundskeeping.
• Minor to moderate repairs of buildings, security systems, vehicles, purchasing, and monthly building inspections.
• Submitting regular reports to supervisor on work orders and completion status.
• Educating employees on basic maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Serving as a member of the Disaster response team.
