Job summary

Holy Family Retreat Center in Beaumont, TX is seeking an Assistant Caretaker to work under the Caretaker and Property Director. The role focuses on general grounds and facilities maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and repairs to support retreat activities.

This 40-hour-per-week position requires a Texas driver's license and completion of Diocesan Safe Environment Training. A high school diploma or GED and at least three months of grounds‑maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least three months' experience in ground maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in grounds maintenance and upkeep.
• Grass mowing, tree trimming and pruning.
• Shrub and tree planting; fertilizing and watering.
• Perform building maintenance, cleaning and painting.
• Window cleaning; plumbing; general repairs.
