Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our community and provide world-class service to residents. You will perform grounds maintenance, assist with vacancy preparation, and uphold safety and environmental policies while delivering exceptional resident satisfaction.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently, including night/weekend emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices (phone/tablet).
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Willingness to be on-call for night/weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, breezeways, and common areas; remove debris.
• Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure all exterior steps have safe treads.
• Remove snow and apply salt as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and perform necessary cleanouts.
• Inspect building exteriors and lighting daily and report repairs promptly.
• Follow all company safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional service.
