Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Facilities Mechanic to maintain the exterior grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members.

The role supports operational grounds by routine landscaping, debris removal, and operation of equipment per established standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years in grounds keeping, and be able to obtain a Maryland gaming license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0–2 years of grounds keeping/outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Maryland gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Cut, weed, and edge grass; rake leaves; sweep parking lots and garages.
• Plant, remove, relocate plants, trees, and shrubs as needed.
• Remove trash and debris from parking lots and grounds; empty trash containers.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as trucks, sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers, litter vacuums.
• Ensure signs, posts, and fences are straight and secure.
• Keep outdoor areas clean, safe, and well‑maintained at all times.
• Be available for weather events (e.g., snow removal).
• May assist with internal logistics and maintenance; other duties as assigned.
