Job summary

JM Family Enterprises is seeking an experienced Exterior & Grounds Maintenance Technician in Deerfield Beach, FL to maintain exterior facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing assets, landscape and irrigation upkeep, and supporting event setups.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Florida driver’s license required.
• 1–3 years of experience in facilities/grounds maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of exterior property maintenance, landscape care, and irrigation systems.
• Experience with maintenance management/work order systems preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high-quality environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair exterior property assets, grounds, and common areas.
• Support landscape maintenance, irrigation system operation, and water feature upkeep.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Conduct exterior cleaning activities, including pressure washing and site appearance improvements.
• Assist with event setups, facility projects, and campus support activities.
• Monitor grounds conditions and identify maintenance, safety, or appearance concerns.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to support grounds and landscaping services.
• Document completed work and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow company safety procedures and support emergency response efforts when needed.
