Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a Groundperson to join our Northwestern OH region team, servicing Findlay to Bowling Green and surrounding areas. This on-site role supports crew operations and safety on utility line clearance projects.

Responsibilities include assisting with lowering ropes, supplying tools, traffic control, and proper debris cleanup. Positions are full-time and hourly, with compensation based on experience and CDL status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements.
• Certificates and Licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.

Position Overview
