Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a Groundperson to join our Northwestern Ohio crew serving Findlay to Bowling Green and surrounding areas.

This full-time, on-site position supports experienced tree workers by handling lowering ropes, transporting tools, and helping manage site safety. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (CDL may be required), and relevant certifications such as pesticide license, line clearance, or ISA Tree Worker

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL may be required depending on job requirements.
• Certificates and Licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for the other crew members by controlling lowering ropes, limbs and persons from aloft.
• Supplying tools for tree workers.
• Controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods.
• Cutting, chipping and loading brush and wood and proper job site cleanup.

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as a Groundperson joining our team servicing the Northwestern OH region from Findlay to Bowling Green and surrounding areas.
