Job summary

Asplundh in North Easton, MA is seeking a Groundperson to support tree maintenance crews. The role involves operating a chainsaw, feeding brush and debris into a wood chipper, and ensuring equipment and materials are kept in good order.

The position is hourly, $21.00 per hour, with responsibilities that include vehicle and equipment servicing, staying aware of safety hazards, and complying with pre-employment screening requirements. Driver's license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-old or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Driver's License Preferred, but not required.
• Pre-Screen: may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
