Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to support vegetation management crews. You will operate chainsaws, feed brush and debris into a wood chipper, and help maintain the fleet and equipment used on site. The role supports crew safety by scanning work areas for hazards and keeping paths clear.

The position is entry-level, with a requirement to be 18+ and a willingness to learn. A driver’s license is preferred but not required, and pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
