Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist in gathering and feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper, while monitoring for trip hazards and maintaining equipment and materials. The role supports crew safety and efficiency on site.

The position is entry-level, with opportunity to learn equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safe work practices in a field environment. A valid driver’s license is preferred, and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
