Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a general labor role to support site maintenance and safe operations at our New York area location. You will perform clean-up, assist with material handling, and monitor equipment under supervisor direction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform general clean-up and maintenance of plant grounds and equipment
• Assist with material handling and equipment operation as needed
• Monitor and report equipment or safety issues to supervisors
• Support plant operations by following safety and operational procedures

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
