Job summary

You will work outdoors in all weather, participate in outages and on-call rotations, and follow safety protocols. The role emphasizes physical labor and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and in outages/callouts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors.
• Operate/maintain excavation equipment (backhoes, trenchers, excavators).
• Work outdoors in various conditions; respond to outages and storms.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Inspect PPE and rubber goods; apply PPE correctly.
• Perform rigorous physical labor.
