Job summary

Chain Electric Company is seeking a Groundman to support Lineman in power line construction, repair, and storm restoration. You will organize vehicles, stock materials, and prepare worksites, while learning to use hand tools, operate forklifts, and drive company vehicles.

This entry-level position requires travel and physical endurance. Responsibilities include assisting with ground work, equipment maintenance, and safe operation in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel 100% of the time and work irregular hours.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physically demanding duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock trucks with materials and tools for daily use.
• Assist Lineman with framing poles and maintaining equipment.
• Drive and operate Chain vehicles as required.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and ensure safety practices.
