Qualifications

• Ability to travel 100% of the time.
• Live within one-hour drive of McAllen, TX.
• Possess own hand tools.
• Valid CDL; no intrastate restriction.
• Good driving record.
• Able to read and follow instructions.
• Able to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and stock trucks with daily materials.
• Prepare equipment and worksites for tasks.
• Provide tools and equipment to Lineman/crew.
• Verify proper grounding of truck.
• Safely control traffic around work zones.
• Dig trenches and backfill to grade specifications.
• Load/unload materials and distribute them as needed.
• Lubricate and repair machinery and tools.
• Assist in maintenance as needed.
• Operate a forklift and other tools.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Assist lineman framing poles on the ground.
• Wash and maintain equipment.
• Drive and operate Chain vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
