Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Groundman to support electrical construction and maintenance projects. You will perform hand digging, handle materials in trenches, and assist with direct bury wire and pipes while learning equipment operation.

Ideal candidates are able to travel as needed, possess hand tools experience, and are eligible for a Class A CDL. The role offers growth toward crew leadership and deepening expertise in utility-scale work.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and perform physical labor.
• Willing to travel as needed for projects.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Class A CDL or hold one.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand digging to varying depths and handle/distribute materials in ditches.
• Assist in installing products such as direct bury wire and steel pipes.
• Learn to operate equipment and potentially lead a crew in the future.
