Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Groundman for our electrical contracting team in Roanoke, VA. The role involves performing hand digging, installing and retrieving materials in trenches, and preparing to lead crew tasks as skills develop.

Applicants should be comfortable with long days of physical work, able to travel as needed, and hold or pursue a Class A CDL. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture focused on safety and craftsmanship.

Formación

• Must be capable of using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, etc.
• Willing to travel when necessary.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a Class A CDL.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hand digging and burying of wire, cables, and piping in trenches.
• Learn to operate equipment when permitted and assist in crew tasks.
• Support and potentially lead crew activities as training progresses.
