Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects, including tilt-up warehouses and distribution centers. You will coordinate with PMs, superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to manage documentation and project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in ground-up construction with exposure to tilt-up, structural steel, and MEP coordination, plus a solid grasp of drawings, scheduling, and cost

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of construction experience in a Project Engineer or coordination role.
• Experience or exposure to ground-up commercial or industrial construction.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling, procurement, and project cost tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and administration.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement, and material tracking.
• Support construction activities involving tilt-up panels, foundations, slabs, structural steel, roofing, and site improvements.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and long-lead materials.
• Assist with change orders, cost tracking, subcontractor billing, and project budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve project issues.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings, site walks, and project progress meetings.
• Assist with inspections, quality control, and construction documentation.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential scheduling or constructability concerns.
• Support site logistics, material deliveries, and construction sequencing.
• Maintain accurate project records, daily reports, and correspondence.
• Assist with punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout.
