Actalent in Virginia is seeking a Superintendent of Construction for a 12-14 week ground-up convenience store and fuel station project. You will oversee site civil construction, manage utilities, grading, paving, earthwork, and stormwater, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, leadership of multiple subs, strong scheduling, and proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam. On-site, fully; OSHA 30 and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience on commercial sites.
• Experience as Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subs and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site civil construction operations for a ground-up project.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing.
• Maintain and track project schedules and budgets.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA requirements on site.
• Implement quality control processes to meet specifications.
• Use Procore or Bluebeam to document progress and communications.
• Conduct site walks and coordinate issue resolutions.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and support reporting.
