Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial ground-up projects in Northern California, based in Roseville. This role focuses on managing preconstruction through closeout with a strong emphasis on ground-up commercial, industrial, and tilt-up construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing ground up commercial construction projects.
• Industrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million.
• Strong knowledge of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and risk management.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and owners.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Oversee project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, billings, and change management.
• Lead owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings.
• Review and manage contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractor buyout and procurement activities.
• Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards throughout construction.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers as needed.
