Job summary

Zipline is expanding the ground systems and site infrastructure that enable autonomous delivery. You will own the technical path from customer solution design through permitting, construction, commissioning, and initial operation.

This role sits where customer needs, site realities, product design, and regulatory approvals meet. You will make practical tradeoffs across parallel deployments, resolve roadblocks, and turn field learning into product changes that make future rollouts simpler and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in technical hardware sales or related field.
• Experience designing technical solutions for contractor-installed equipment.
• Experience navigating entitlements, permits, inspections, and AHJs.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions through sketches, writing, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales and site solution design with customers, producing layouts and cut sheets.
• Own site delivery from evaluation through commissioning and initial operation.
• Develop preconstruction strategies and secure entitlements and approvals.
• Manage parallel site infrastructure and light commercial construction projects.
• Source and manage general contractors and subcontractors across trades.
• Translate deployment constraints into prioritized product changes with teams.
