Vantor in California seeks a senior systems engineer to test, analyze, verify, and validate space and ground system components for DoD programs. You’ll develop and review requirements, specifications, interfaces, and test plans while coordinating with clients and leadership.

This role requires a Secret clearance, 10+ years of DoD experience, and the ability to work on-site several days per week in a fast-paced environment offering a competitive compensation package and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience developing technical specifications, interface control documents, and test plans.
• Experience authoring requirements and managing verification activities.
• Knowledge of network architecture and Agile methodologies.
• Experience leading teams of 5+ people.
• Active security clearance required (Secret).

Responsibilities

• Test, analyze, evaluate, verify, and validate systems for DoD programs.
• Identify areas requiring mitigation and contribute to system development with advanced tech solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, teams, and leadership for requirements and milestones.
• Contribute to acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.
