Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Technician to support DoD programs. The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing GSE, ensuring equipment readiness and safety in demanding environments.

You will obtain and maintain a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) designation, perform certifications, and train fellow workers while following DoD standards and COR direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver's License required.
• 2+ years in aircraft ground handling and common maintenance practices.
• Ground Support Equipment mechanics shall be CDI with capability to perform all tasks on all systems.
• Must be able to obtain DoD CAC access.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and test GSE to determine serviceability and proper operation.
• Train and advise contractors and other workers on diagnosis and repair maintenance problems.

Responsibilities

• The employee shall obtain and maintain designation as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) for the below Support Equipment. You will acquire designation/certification as Hydraulic Contamination, HAZMAT, Tire and Wheel certification, and certifications as deemed necessary by the COR.
• The contractor will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and squadron SEPMS assigned to the MALS for repair and/or inspections.
• You will inspect, Diagnose, and Test GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Clean and treats for corrosion.
• Service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications. Stencils and marks GSE by technical publications
• Train and advise contractors and other workers on diagnosis and repair maintenance problems.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Valid US Driver's License
• 2+ years in aircraft ground handling and common maintenance practices, Precision Measuring Equipment, Publications, Diagrams, Sketches, and Drawings
• Ground Support Equipment Mechanics shall be a CDI with the capability of performing all tasks on all systems.

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
