Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Ground Station Engineer for an Advanced Integration Course, training pilots on aircraft simulators and coordinating with customer locations.

The role involves collaborating with development and test teams on system integration, performing analyses across the lifecycle, and translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications under schedule and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, BIS, or equivalent aviation experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance investigation within the last 5 years.
• Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
• IT experience in Windows/Linux, Database, Networking, or COMSEC.
• Experience in enterprise-wide software-hardware integration and standards compliance.
• Experience managing ground systems lifecycle (Windows/Linux, cloud-hybrid, high-availability DBs).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and test teams for operational integration at customer locations.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost and risk analyses for total systems.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications within constraints.
