Job summary

Oho Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Satellite ground software engineer to design, develop and maintain the software used to fly our spacecraft. You will build services that move telemetry and commands between satellites and mission control, and create tools and automation for safe, efficient operations.

Work includes deploying ground software on AWS and Kubernetes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and coordinating with mission operations and RF engineers to validate end-to-end data paths.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing ground systems software (services, APIs, and Applications).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, VPNs and secure connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of satellite ground systems, including ground station networking, antenna interfaces and RF subsystems.
• Experience building services around databases and real-time data (relational or time-series).
