CareFlite is seeking a dedicated Paramedic for our Ground Division in Texas. You will deliver high-quality emergency care, operate emergency vehicles safely, and coordinate with flight crews as needed while maintaining professional interactions with patients and families.

You will perform clinical assessments, document patient conditions, and participate in quality improvement activities, ensuring CareFlite’s standards are consistently met during transports.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Current State of Texas certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current PHTLS Certificate or obtained within 6 weeks of hire.
• Current PALS Certificate or obtained within 6 weeks of hire.
• Current Dallas City Ambulance Attendant Driver permit.
• Current Texas Class C driver’s license.
• Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English.
• 2 Years’ experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate the emergency vehicle in compliance with laws, regulations and CareFlite procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all equipment on the ambulance.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and document service needs.
• Assist flight crew with loading/unloading patients for helicopter and fixed wing aircraft.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers and medical personnel.
• Inform patients and families of transport details and status to ensure a positive experience.
• Support care delivery and documentation of transports, stocking and cleaning of the vehicle.
• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement activities as directed by supervision.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and teamwork with co-workers.
