Ground Paramedic role at Intermountain Health in Elko, NV, delivering advanced prehospital care in ambulance and field settings, evaluating and stabilizing critically ill patients, coordinating with dispatch and hospital teams.

You will drive safely, document care, educate patients, participate in ongoing training to maintain paramedic certification, and support EMTs and other responders while ensuring safety and quality of care.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of Paramedic course.
• Must obtain Paramedic license in state of operation within 120 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Current valid driver license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Provides advanced medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
• Safely drives and operates ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
• Transports patients to appropriate medical facilities while ensuring their safety and stability.
• Maintains effective communication with dispatch, hospital staff, police, fire personnel, and other necessary parties.
• Accurately completes and maintains Patient Care Reports, files, and forms.
• Cleans and maintains medical equipment, vehicles, and living quarters.
