Job summary

Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital is seeking a Ground Paramedic in Burley, ID. You will provide advanced medical care, evaluate and stabilize critically ill patients, and safely drive ambulances to facilities.

Role requires Paramedic certification, state license within 120 days, and BLS. Prefer ATLS/TPATC/PHTLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS. A driver’s license in good standing is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Paramedic course.
• Paramedic license in state of operation within 120 days.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Current valid driver license in good standing.
• Preferred: ATLS/TPATC/PHTLS.
• NRP Certification preferred.
• PALS Certification within 120 days of hire.
• ACLS Certification within 120 days of hire.
• Attendance License required before start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
• Safely drive and operate ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
• Transport patients to medical facilities ensuring safety and stability.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, hospital staff, and emergency personnel.
• Complete and maintain patient care reports and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles; participate in ongoing training.
• Supervise EMTs and ensure quality of care; provide patient education.
