Job summary

FreshDirect LLC is seeking a Ground Operations Assistant for the Inbound department in the New York area. The role involves receiving, storing, inventorying, and replenishing products while following good manufacturing practices.

Flexibility to assist in other departments and load trucks is possible. You will use a warehouse management system and RF devices to process deliveries, move stock, and maintain organized reserves.

• Must be comfortable with basic math skills.
• Must be able to read and comprehend in English.

Responsibilities

• Process deliveries quickly and accurately using our warehouse management system and RF guns.
• Move products between reserve locations and pick bins.
• Stock pick bins and reserves based on work assignments.
• Work to or exceed standard rates for activities set forth by the management team.
• Operate manual pallet jacks, U-boats, dollies, and other manual handling equipment.
• Organize and rotate products using FIFO while keeping areas clean and organized.
