Job summary

Cargolux is seeking a qualified candidate for the freight operations coordination role in Houston. The position requires regulatory compliance experience, supervisory ability, and strong communication and analytical skills.

You will handle freight acceptance, ensure ground operations align with manuals, and report incidents as required. Domestic and international travel for training and coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent is required or accepted.
• Strong regulatory and compliance experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct execution of the various tasks concerning freight acceptance and handling.
• Ensure flight and ground operations are performed in accordance in the Ground Operations Manual.
• Comply with all local and international rules and regulations relating to Safety and Security, and monitor reports of accidents, incidents and other ground occurrences, including reporting DG incidents to the appropriate Authority.
• Coordinate all activities as the Official-in-Charge (OIC) in the event of an accident or incident per the emergency manual Chapter 11 Station Nearest Accident.
