Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks an experienced Associate Director Engineer to serve as Hardware Lead for the Ground-Based Radar Digitization program. The role oversees hardware updates across multiple radar sites, ensuring continuity and alignment with program goals, while interfacing with USG customer leadership and Raytheon management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 12+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 10+ years' experience.
• Experience leading design and development activities for radar design technologies.
• Experience in leadership positions and in preparing technical and cost proposals.
• Experience with EVMS and other program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain and Quality through production and issue resolution.
• Implement EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management.
• Plan, budget, and track programs to cost and schedule.
• Balance engineering production support with customer schedule requirements.
• Interact with Raytheon management and USG customers at reviews and meetings.
