An established industry player is seeking a Grossing Technician II to join their team in Tampa. This role involves preparing surgical specimens, ensuring accurate specimen handling, and performing gross examinations under supervision. This position involves grossing surgical specimens for individuals with limited experience in this area. The technician will perform gross examinations of small, uncomplicated specimens, and some more complex specimens with approval from the technical supervisor. Supervision levels will be determined by the supervisor and/or laboratory director.
Pay Range: $25.68+ per hour. Eligible for shift differentials of 10% for some or all second shift hours and 15% for third shift hours. Additional details will be provided upon offer.
Salary offers depend on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may also qualify for annual performance bonuses.

Required: Meets all requirements per corporate SOP and CLIA regulations for tissue gross examinations.
Preferred: 3 years of histology and/or grossing experience.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree. Current state licensure if applicable.
