Job summary

Digestive Disease Consultants in Brunswick, OH seeks a Grossing Histotech to join our GI pathology team. You will perform grossing, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy and special stains on GI biopsy specimens.

You will operate H&E autostainers, manage reagents and data entry in the LIS, and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and OSHA regulations under Lab Director oversight. This role requires meeting CLIA High Complexity qualifications, with an associate degree or 60 semester hours, and

Qualifications

• CLIA High Complexity Testing qualification required.
• Associate degree or 60 semester hours with relevant science coursework.
• HT(ASCP) certification eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform grossing (prosection) of GI biopsy specimens.
• Prepare tissue sections using microtome and stains.
• Maintain pathology lab equipment and supplies.
• Assist in accessioning and data entry in LIS.
