Job summary

Massanutten Resort in McGaheysville, VA is seeking a snow groomer to operate grooming equipment on mountainous terrain, pushing snow to create optimal surfaces for our guests. Duties include dozing, sculpting and grading snow surfaces in variable conditions, with the work largely overnight and long hours during peak snowmaking.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all guidelines and policies set forth by GERM and equipment manufacturers recommendations
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior on grooming vehicles
• Assist in general maintenance and repair of grooming vehicles as needed
• Report all incidents, mechanical or safety issues to supervisor without delay
• Work in team environment to achieve our operational goals
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Summary

Position requires the ability to operate snow grooming equipment on mountainous terrain, pushing snow to create the best possible snow surfaces for our resort guests. Duties include dozing, sculpting and grading snow surfaces in variable conditions in a safe and efficient manner. Prior experience working outdoors is required and prior snow grooming and/or heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred. Position is primarily overnight and long hours are required during optimal snowmaking weather.
