Job summary

Discovery Land Company - Homewood Mountain & Lake Club seeks a Grooming & Trails Supervisor to lead winter grooming and summer trail work. You will oversee snow surface prep, partner with Snowmaking, and supervise staff to ensure safe, high-quality experiences for guests.

The role requires 3+ years in ski area operations, strong leadership and communication, and a valid driver’s license. Join a team focused on safety, service, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ski area operations experience, including grooming.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of snowmaking, grooming practices, and mountain operations.
• Ability to analyze weather, snow conditions, and operational data.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily grooming plans based on weather and priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate snow conditions across trails and terrain.
• Partner with Snowmaking to optimize snow production and surface quality.
• Supervise grooming operators and provide coaching and development.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and preventive schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance and record-keeping for operations.
• Assist with budgeting, costs, and equipment upgrades.
• Coordinate with Patrol, Snowmaking, Safety and other teams as needed.
